NHSAA Executive Committee Meeting

An Executive Committee Meeting of the Nahata High School Alumni Association was held online via Google Meet on 27th June 2026 at 8:30 PM, with approximately 80% of the Executive Committee Members in attendance.
The following resolutions were unanimously adopted at the meeting:

1. The event scheduled for 4th July 2026 will commence at 11:00 AM with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

2. Following the addresses by the President and the Secretary, at approximately 11:20 AM, students who secured outstanding results in the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations, 2026 will be felicitated with a Memento and a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of their academic excellence.

3. From 12:00 PM onwards, financial assistance amount, along with a Certificate of Scholarship, will be handed over to the selected students of Classes VI to XII who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance despite severe hardships.

4. It was also decided to institute a Scholarship of ₹5,000 for the student securing the highest marks in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2026. The scholarship will be given in memory of Late Satyendra Chandra Naha, the respected former Headmaster of Nahata High School.

5. At 12:30 PM, the Career Counselling Program will commence in three separate batches. Sri Nihar Ranjan Bala will coordinate the sessions.
Batch I: Students of Classes IX and X
Batch II: Students of Class XI
Batch III: Students of Class XII

6. It was resolved that Refreshments will be served to all participants of the Career Counselling Program, including the students being felicitated and those receiving financial assistance. [Courtesy of - Sri Dipak Kumar Chaki, Sri Santi Ranjan Sarkar and others]

7. Lunch will be arranged for all members attending the event. The cost of lunch will be borne by the participating members and not by the Alumni Association. Members wishing to attend the event are requested to confirm their participation by 1st July 2026 for necessary arrangements.

8. Honorary Members, representatives of the Nahata Bazar Committee, officials from the local Police Station and Media will be invited to grace the occasion.

9. At 3:00 PM, an offline meeting of the Executive Committee Members will be held, during which each sub-committee will present its proposed activities and action plans for the coming year.

10. Receipts for all subscription fees and donations received by the Association will be issued and shared with the respective members by the Treasurer/ Finance Sub-Committee shortly.
