Scholarship Funds
Annual Scholarship Amount: ₹5,000
Nahata High School Alumni Association will award an annual scholarship of ₹5,000 to the student of Nahata High School (H.S.) securing the highest marks in the Higher Secondary Examination.
This scholarship is instituted in memory of late Shri Satyendra Chandra Naha, the esteemed former Headmaster of Nahata High School (H.S.), to honour his enduring legacy and invaluable contributions to the institution.
Annual Scholarship Amount: ₹10,000
Nahata High School Alumni Association will award an annual scholarship of ₹10,000 to the student of Nahata High School (H.S.) securing the highest marks in the Class XI (Science) Examination.
This scholarship is instituted in honour of Shri Amal Kumar Ghosh and Shri Manindra Nath Sarkar, the distinguished former Science Teachers of Nahata High School (H.S.), for their exceptional dedication and invaluable contributions to the school.
Annual Scholarship Amount: ₹8,500+
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association will award a scholarship of ₹8,500+ to a meritorious and financially deserving male student of Nahata High School (H.S.) who secures commendable marks in the Class XI (Science) Examination.
Instituted as a tribute to the loving memory of late Shri Bhabani Pada Sarkar of Rasulpur, former Headmaster of Bhaberhati GS Free Primary School , this scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to the recipient in pursuing higher studies and achieving his educational aspirations.
Annual Scholarship Amount: ₹8,500+
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association will award a scholarship of ₹8,500+ to a meritorious and financially deserving male student of Nahata High School (H.S.) who secures commendable marks in the Higher Secondary (Science) Examination.
Instituted as a tribute to the loving memory of late Smt. Renuka Rani Sarkar of Rasulpur, this scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to the recipient in pursuing higher studies and achieving his educational aspirations.
Annual Scholarship Awards:
- Class X: ₹5,000
- Class XII: ₹5,000
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association (NHSAA) will award two scholarships of ₹5,000 each to meritorious and financially deserving students of Nahata High School (H.S.) who secure commendable academic performance—one scholarship to a student of Class X and the other to a student of Class XII.
Instituted as a tribute to the loving memory of late Shri Ganapati Sarkar and late Smt. Renuka Sarkar, parents of alumnus Shri Gokul Chandra Sarkar, these scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to the recipients in pursuing higher education and achieving their educational goals.

- Two Scholarships of ₹5,000 each
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association (NHSAA) will award two scholarships of ₹5,000 each to meritorious and financially deserving female students of Nahata High School (H.S.) who secure commendable marks in the Class XI Examination.
Instituted as a tribute to the loving memory of late Shri Shambhu Chand Gharami and late Smt. Janaki Rani Gharami, parents of alumnus Shri Prasad Kumar Gharami, these scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to the recipients in pursuing higher education and to promote girls' education.
Annual Scholarship Amount: ₹4,350 each (Two Scholarships)
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association (NHSAA) will award two scholarships of ₹4,350 each to the students who secure the first and second positions among SC/ST students of Nahata High School (H.S.) in the Madhyamik Examination.
Instituted as a tribute to the loving memory of late Shri Birendra Nath Bala and late Smt. Rupasi Bala, parents of alumnus Shri Nihar Ranjan Bala, these scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to the recipients in pursuing higher education and to encourage and motivate them to strive for academic excellence.
Annual Scholarship Awards:
- Class XI (Female): ₹5,000
- Class VI: ₹3,000
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association (NHSAA) will award two scholarships:
- A scholarship of ₹5,000 to the female student of Class XI who secures the highest marks among all female students of Nahata High School (H.S.) in the Madhyamik Examination.
- A scholarship of ₹3,000 to the student of Class VI of Nahata High School (H.S.) who secures the highest marks in the Class V Examination.
Instituted in fond memory of late Kumari Mrinmoyee Bala, beloved daughter of alumnus Shri Nihar Ranjan Bala and honorary member Smt. Sukla Das Bala, these scholarships cherish her enduring memory while supporting deserving students in their pursuit of higher education.
Annual Scholarship Awards:
- Class X: ₹5,000
- Class VII: ₹4,000
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association (NHSAA) will award two scholarships to meritorious and financially deserving students of Nahata High School (H.S.) who demonstrate commendable academic performance:
- One scholarship of ₹5,000 to a student of Class X.
- One scholarship of ₹4,000 to a student of Class VII.
Instituted as a tribute to the loving memory of late Shri Dukhiram Chaki and late Smt. Raju Bala Chaki, parents of alumnus Shri Dipak Kumar Chaki, these scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to the recipients in pursuing higher education and achieving their academic aspirations.
Annual Scholarship Awards:
- 1st Position: ₹3,000
- 2nd Position: ₹2,000
- 3rd Position: ₹1,000
Every year, the Nahata High School Alumni Association (NHSAA) will award three scholarships to the students of Nahata High School (H.S.) who secure the first, second, and third positions in the Madhyamik Examination. The scholarships shall comprise ₹3,000 for the first position, ₹2,000 for the second position, and ₹1,000 for the third position.
