The Executive Committee Meeting of the Nahata High School Alumni Association was held online on Sunday, 1st March 2026, at 8:30 PM. The following resolutions were unanimously adopted at the meeting:
1. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2026 will commence at 10:00 AM on 23rd May 2026.
2. It was decided to propose Honorary Membership of the Association to our respected and distinguished former teachers - Shri Amal Kumar Ghosh, Shri Ashwini Kumar Sarkar, Shri Piyush Kanti Sen, Shri Amaresh Chandra Sarkar and Shri Ananda Kumar Biswas.
3. Any individual willing to contribute to the welfare of the students of Nahata High School and to the development of the underprivileged people of the surrounding villages associated with the school may apply for Honorary Membership of the Nahata High School Alumni Association. Such membership may be granted upon approval by the Executive Committee and upon a contribution of ₹5,000 to the Association.
4. The amount of financial assistance to be provided to students of Classes VII to IX, as well as students appearing for the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations, will be determined at the Executive Committee Meeting to be held in April 2026. The amount of assistance will depend on the financial contributions and donations received from members during this period.
5. The funds collected from existing and new Lifetime Members will be invested in a Fixed Deposit with a bank.
6. A delegate fee of ₹200 per person was fixed for members attending the AGM.
7. Approval shall be obtained from the School Authority for the renovation and replacement of the statue of our respected former Headmaster, Late Satyendra Chandra Naha. Upon receiving approval, the work of preparing the new statue will be entrusted to artisans in Krishnanagar.
8. In memory of our respected former Headmaster, Late Satyendra Chandra Naha, the Association will award a cash prize to the student securing the highest positions in the Higher Secondary Examination. This award shall be subject to the approval of the late Head Sir's family.
