2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026

The Second Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nahata High School Alumni Association was successfully held on 23rd May 2026. The meeting brought together alumni members to review the Association's activities over the past year, discuss future initiatives, strengthen alumni engagement, and take several important decisions for the continued growth and development of the Association.

Following the President's welcome address, the proceedings included the following:

a) The names and classes of the students of Nahata High School who received financial assistance from the Alumni Association in June 2025 were announced.

b) The Secretary presented the Annual Report, highlighting the Association's activities and achievements.

c) Honorary members and senior alumni present at the AGM were felicitated with Uttariya as a mark of respect and recognition.

d) The Treasurer presented the audited Income and Expenditure Report of the Association.

e) Members present at the AGM shared their valuable suggestions and views regarding the Association's activities, future programs, expansion of alumni membership, and other initiatives aimed at strengthening the Association.

Key Resolutions Adopted:
The General Body unanimously adopted the following resolutions:

1. Felicitation Program: It was decided to organize a felicitation programme on 4th July 2026, similar to the previous year, to honour the outstanding students of Nahata High School who successfully passed the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations in 2026, with outstanding marks.

2. Financial Assistance to Students: The Association will continue its initiative of providing financial assistance to meritorious and economically disadvantaged students of Classes VI to XII of Nahata High School. The approved assistance amounts are:
Class VI – ₹3,000 per student
Classes VII & VIII – ₹4,000 per student
Classes IX & X – ₹5,000 per student
Classes XI & XII – ₹6,000 per student

3. Career Counselling Program: A career counselling programme for students of Classes IX, X, XI, and XII will be organized on the same day to guide them in making informed academic and career choices.

4. Association Website: It was resolved to develop an official website for the Nahata High School Alumni Association to showcase its activities, announcements, achievements, and member engagement.

5. Annual Magazine: The Association also resolved to publish an Annual Magazine featuring Association activities, and other relevant articles.

Constitution of the New Executive Committee:
The General Body unanimously approved the constitution of a new 30-member Executive Committee from among the members of the Association to strengthen its organizational structure, ensure broader representation, and facilitate greater participation in its activities.

The New Executive Committee comprises of:
- President
- Secretary
- Vice Presidents (five nos.)
- Assistant Secretaries (four nos.)
- Cultural Secretaries (three nos.)
- Treasurer
- Assistant Treasurer
- other Executive Members

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by a delicious lunch, fostering a renewed spirit of camaraderie among the participants and reaffirming the Association's commitment to strengthening alumni bonds while making meaningful contributions to the students and the wider community.
