An Executive Committee Meeting of the Nahata High School Alumni Association was held online via Google Meet on Saturday, 30 May 2026, at 8:30 PM, with the participation of 27 members of the 30-member Executive Body. At the outset, the Secretary welcomed all newly inducted members of the Executive Committee and expressed appreciation for their willingness to contribute to the growth and development of the Association.
The resolutions unanimously adopted during the meeting were:
1. The following sub-committees were constituted. The Convenors of these sub-committees shall be nominated subsequently by the President and the Secretary:
a) Constitution & Bye-Laws sub-Committee
b) Events & Reunion sub-Committee
c) Career Counselling sub-Committee
d) Social Media sub-Committee
e) Member Engagement sub-Committee
f) Mulyayan sub-Committee
g) Science, Book Fair & Cultural Activities sub-Committee
h) Medical Assistance sub-Committee
i) Magazine sub-Committee
j) Finance sub-Committee
k) Office Team sub-Committee
2. An Advisory Committee was also constituted, comprising respected senior alumni and Honorary Members of the Association, to provide guidance and support in the Association's activities and decision-making processes.
3. It was decided to felicitate the outstanding students of Nahata High School who successfully passed the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations in 2026. The students will be honoured with mementos and certificates at the special event on 4th July 2026.
4. It was further decided to provide financial assistance to meritorious and economically disadvantaged students of Classes VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII of Nahata High School, continuing the initiative undertaken in 2025. The Mulyayan sub-Committee will undertake the necessary evaluation and selection process to identify and finalize the beneficiaries.
5. As in the previous year, career counselling program for students of Classes IX, X, XI, and XII will be organized on 4th July 2026. The objective of these program will be to guide students in making informed academic and career choices and to help them prepare for future educational and professional opportunities.
